Pickin' in the Kitchen with Daniel & Carley

EPISODE 3: FILLED WITH THANKFULNESS

This month is flying by, at least to me! We are so thankful that y’all have been tuning in to “Pickin’ in the Kitchen”. This week Daniel is sharing a favorite family recipe (since the blackberry cobbler was one from mine) and I think y’all are going to enjoy it.

“One of my favorite meals is my Granna’s meatloaf. I’ve always associated it with my mom as well, she learned how to make it for us at home since we weren’t able to be at Granna’s all the time!

There’s really not too much to say about it, other than it’s a pretty traditional meatloaf recipe. Mom told me she doesn’t always put the onions in the sauce, and I honestly think that’s a good move. The sauce MAKES it, it’s probably my favorite part of the dish.

Y’all enjoy it!”

—Daniel

“Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”
